Dial-Up Networking Settings
This page shows you what your Dial-up Networking settings should look like on your computer. You should look at the images below and make sure they match with those on your computer, if they don't, you should make the necessary changes. To access your Dial-up Networking settings follow these instructions:
- Double-click on My Computer
- Double-click on Dial-Up Networking
- Put your mouse cursor over the Software Solutions icon and click the right mouse button
- A small window will pop up. Click (left) on Properties
- The Properties window will come up. You will notice four different tabs along the top (General, Server Types, Scripting and Multilink).
This is what the General settings should look like:
Note: These are the access phone numbers available to our clients:
- 413-2002 - Salt Lake County.
- 437-0569 - Utah County.
If you have any other number listed next to Telephone number, replace it with one of the appropriate number above.
- Click on the Server Types tab.
This is what the Server Types settings should look like:
- Click the TCP/IP Settings... button.
This is what the TCP/IP Settings should look like:
- Click OK.
- The Scripting and Multilink tabs should be left alone.
- Click OK.
- Close any open windows.
- Your Dial-up Networking settings are now configured correctly!
